Michel “Mitch” Dorge or known as Mitch Dorge is a Canadian drummer. He’s also known as a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and record producer. Mitch was born on born September 15, 1960, in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Mitch Dorge is a very talented drummer and has been playing for over 40 years.

Mitch Dorge started playing drums at the age of 11 and has never looked back. Mitch is best known as the drummer for the Crash Test Dummies from 1991-2001. He played on all six of their studio albums. Mitch’s talents don’t stop at just drumming. He is also a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, bass, banjo, and keyboards. He has also composed and produced music for TV and film.
Since 1999 Mitch Dorge has worked with Tuesday’s Girl and Charlie Redstar as producer, engineer, and drummer. Dorge was awarded the Prairie Music Award for Outstanding Instrumental Recording for his solo record.

He has also scored music for TV and film. In 2007, Mitch released his first solo album, “One More Time Around”. The album is a collection of instrumental acoustic guitar pieces.
